 What are LIFE Groups?
LIFE Groups are the small group ministry of FVC. LIFE Groups exist for the formation of GC 3 people. People who follow Jesus Christ in the:
Great Commandment:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:37 -39).
Great Commission:
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20).
Great Commitment:
"Jesus replied, 'No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the Kingdom of God'" (Luke 9:62).
Why should I belong to a LIFE Group?
In a word: Community . LIFE Groups are the best way to be known and loved at FVC. LIFE Groups are a place where "everybody knows your name":
- A place to be cared for and
challenged
- A place to connect to God's
Word
- A place to be a conduit of God's grace
How do I get connected to a LIFE Group?
You may choose a group based upon a station-of-life, location, time, and/or topic. FVC offers the following group types:
- "Bring the Kids Too"
- "For Adults Only"
- "For Women Only"
- "For Men Only"
- Other
LIFE Groups meet in each others homes and various locations.
