Ana | Philippines

Ana serves as a missions mobilizer with International Teams in the Philippines and this summer led a mission exposure trip to Cambodia, spoke at a mission training in Vietnam, and led a mission training for those preparing to be sent out through her organization. She first took 14 team members to three cities in Cambodia, visiting schools, serving in villages, and mingling with locals in markets. After that 20-day mission exposure trip, Ana traveled to Vietnam for the Tentmaker’s Conference in late July, where she spoke about her missionary experience.

It was a miracle that we were able to conduct the conference in a big venue in the city that accommodated around 650 delegates, without interruption from the authority. For 3 days we were able to do our program freely. We were worshipping, dancing, shouting and fellowshipping in the venue. It was victorious at the end of 3 days conference.  Praise God!

After the conference, she helped lead the Access 2 Mission Training, the last phase of training to become an International Teams member or missionary. This training, of 318 trainees and 31 trainers, lasted 5 days.

It was a miracle of God we were able to conduct the training for 5 days freely without fear of authorities. We were amazed of how God is moving in our midst; it was a big challenge to handle such big number of people yet we were able accomplished the tasked given to us. Thankful to God for our team’s unity and cooperation. It was indeed a team effort, everybody work their best for the LORD. And the result was amazing, all the trainees left Vietnam with a heart ignited and motivated to participate in global mission.

Brett and Michelle | Poland

Brett serves as a missionary pastor for the International Church of Wroclaw, which reaches out to international students and business professionals that have poured into the city in the last 15 years. There are people from six continents and 32 countries attending their church. Brett and Michelle lead discipleship groups and, despite Europeans prioritizing vacation during the summer months, attendance in their groups and at Sunday worship remained steady, and even saw new faces this summer.

This summer they studied “Love and Respect” by Dr. Eggeriches and have prayer requests for couples in their groups.

We were both shocked to receive a text message from a husband who said his wife wants a divorce. They have a four-year-old child. There had been no indication of marriage problems at all.  She has shared that she believes in Jesus, yet is isolating herself, and getting advice from non-Christians. The wife is lonely and isolated which is compounded by living in a foreign country.

We praise the Lord that the husband prayed with Brett to ask Jesus into his life. He is coming to church and asking for help.  From what we know, there is no infidelity, no addictions, and actually, they don’t say anything negative about each other. They just say they don’t know how to solve problems or talk.

Please pray for this marriage and for wisdom for us as we try to listen, encourage and help them.
