Mission: Telling and Showing the Story of Jesus

This is why we exist. The last command Jesus left us with is to “go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything [He] commanded.” Because of this, Fox Valley leads with our mission of telling and showing the story of Jesus.

Vision: Revolution of Transformation

This is what we believe will happen if we stay on mission, telling and showing the story of Jesus.

Our vision is to see a Christ-centered revolution of transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit everywhere we go.

Within a 5 mile radius of Fox Valley Church, there are thousands of people searching for answers. As we tell and show the story of Jesus, it’s our vision that we’d see a revolution of transformation in our community in our generation. This can only be done by the power of the Holy Spirit, because the Spirit does the heavy lifting in evangelism.

Values

These make us distinctively Fox Valley Church, and help bring our vision and mission to life.

PREEMINENCE OF GOD'S WORD
We start with God’s Word because without truth, this world is overrun by opinions and ideas. God has spoken and He has something to say about Himself, the world and our lives. This value is lived out by lifting high the Word of God through a message on Sunday morning, Life Groups and Equip U (our Sunday education hour).
PRIMACY OF WORSHIP AND PRAYER

As God reveals Himself in the Bible, we find that there is no one like Him. He is truly unique and worthy of all our worship. Everyone in this world worships something or someone (if it is not the true God, it is idolatry). Therefore, worship and prayer have the place of first importance of all that we do. The Holy Spirit leads and empowers our worship.

PRIORITY OF MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS
God never intended for us to live alone. From the earliest moments in the Garden of Eden when He said “it is not good for man to be alone,” we know that we were meant for relationships. Fox Valley recognizes this and seeks to help build bridges so that we can all move into meaningful relationships. It is through grace-based relationships that we become disciples who make disciples.
PASSION FOR LOCAL AND WORLD OUTREACH

The message of Christ shouts “people matter to God.” Since people matter to God, they matter to us. God desires for us to be radically other-centered. Matthew 28:19 tells us to make disciples of all nations. We seek to live out this command by partnering with local justice ministries and world mission partners and organizations.
