CJ
Pastor CJ is a genuine, fun-loving guy who serves the students of Fox Valley Church well. Having served Fox Valley’s students since 2018, CJ is passionate about seeing young people grow in their faith and understanding of who God is and who He created them to be. His ministry objective is to equip teens with the Word of God to be catalysts for the Gospel.
Originally from Vero Beach, FL, CJ and his wife, Aleesa, now make their home in Lake in the Hills. They have a Golden Retriever named Rosie and are expecting their first little girl this summer. CJ earned his bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City, OK.
CJ enjoys doing anything outside in his free time, including fly fishing, hunting, disc golf, hiking, and kayaking. Aside from discipling students, he’s most passionate about the outdoors, his family, and Chick-fil-A! An overall positive guy, is there anything Pastor CJ doesn’t like? Yep. He hates shellfish.
If we had to guess where’d we find CJ once he retires (many years from now), our money’s on finding him on a river, volunteering as a fly fishing guide.
