Julian Guevara

Fox Valley Church welcomed Julian Guevara to our team in the summer of 2021. He wears a number of hats at Fox Valley, but works primarily with our life group ministry, oversees the World Outreach Team, and serves as our gym shepherd.

Julian has a B.A. in Christian Ministries and recently completed his Master of Divinity at Moody. He is currently pursuing ordination within our denomination, the EFCA.

We are blessed to work alongside this young man who is passionate about serving the local church. Julian shared, “Throughout scripture, we see that the local church is the light of the world, and we all have an important part to play in it. I am most passionate about people’s stories. I love meeting new people and getting to know who they are.” If you see Julian in the lobby between Sunday services, stop him and share your faith story. He’d love to hear it! Like many of our staff, Julian is working in a role he’d do even without pay. Shepherding people is where his heart is!

Julian grew up in Schaumburg with his parents and two younger brothers. He is married to Paula and the father of Daniela. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, spending time with his family, and going for long walks. You might even catch him walking in the church parking lot!
