Kate

Kate plays a vital role in the worship ministry at Fox Valley Church, as she leads our service in the gym.
Kate grew up in Huntley, where she lived with her parents, Chris and Jami Urosevich, her younger sister, Molly, and her older sister, Claire. After high school, she attended Ohio Northern University for two years, where she triple majored in history, social studies, and musical theatre. Kate is currently a student at Judson University with a major in Worship Arts.
As you would expect from a student who pursued three separate majors, Kate is a young woman with multiple interests and passions. She’s got a huge passion for the arts and loves being able to fuse it together with glorifying God through worship and music. She enjoys encouraging others to engage themselves fully in worship. Kate is passionate about building strong, meaningful relationships and genuinely getting to know people.
As warm and friendly as Kate is, think twice before challenging her in a debate. Kate competed with her high school’s speech and debate team for four years and made it to the state competition for three of those four years. When not challenging someone to a debate, Kate loves listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, and being outside. She also will be receiving her certification as a mental health first responder (AACC) by the end of the summer!
