Pastor Tom grew up in Wheeling, IL, and attended the University of Illinois. After earning his bachelor’s degree, he served with CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ), where he met Cathy, who grew up in Tampa, FL. They soon married and served together in Houston and later in Chicago. Tom continued his education at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Theology and later earned a Ph.D. from Trinity International University.
After 12 years with CRU, Tom and Cathy sensed God leading them to serve in a church, specifically Fox Valley Church. They began their ministry here in November 1992. As Pastor Tom and Cathy have noted, the people of Fox Valley Church extended to them one of the greatest privileges in their lives: to serve as a pastor and wife in this wonderful, Spirit-filled community!
Tom and Cathy have three married children who all love the Lord. They are the proud grandparents of nine grandchildren. (The newest grand-baby is due to arrive this July!)
