Leslee Baron

Originally from Wisconsin, Leslee found her way to Illinois when she attended Judson University, where she met her husband, Nate. Today, Leslee, Nate, and their three children call Pingree Grove their home.
Their eldest, Matthew (23), serves in the Air Force, while Lindsey (21) is away at college, and Josiah (13) keeps things lively at home. Rounding out the family are their three dogs: Summit, Tucker, and Diesel.

Leslee joined the Fox Valley Church staff in 2023 after working for many years in the Christian nonprofit sector as a marketing communications project manager and content writer. Her role at FVC allows her to combine her professional skills with her passion for ministry.

“I love investing my time and talents into work that makes an eternal impact,” Leslee shared. “Being immersed in ‘on mission living’ is incredibly fulfilling.” She finds that Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens
iron, so one person sharpens another,” rings especially true in her work at FVC.

When not at her desk, you might find Leslee tending to her garden, nose-deep in a book, or out walking the dogs. She loves spending time with her family and being outside soaking up the sun.

Leslee is passionate about using her communication skills to share God’s love and to help others find their place in the church community.

“Working so closely with people who are intentional about being a light in the darkness is contagious in all the right ways,” she reflects.
